Bangkok railway station → Bangkok (Hua Lamphong) railway station – Official documentation by the State Railway of Thailand (that operates the station) now refer to the railway station as Bangkok (Hua Lamphong) to distinguish it from Krung Thep Aphiwat Central Terminal which is Bangkok's newer main railway station. Comment: This seems to be a bit of an WP:Official name issue. There's no doubt that Hua Lamphong should be included in the name, as most laypersons have always referred to it as such. I wonder though whether the page shouldn't just be moved back to Hua Lamphong railway station, which has more or less always been the common name, though it's technically inaccurate as the name properly referred to the nearby former station of the Paknam Railway. But then the trend on Wikipedia has long been to give less weight to such technical considerations; the article about the Clock Tower, Palace of Westminster was moved to Big Ben long ago. --Paul_012 (talk) 17:22, 10 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
